What is Callab?

This was an attempt at a social media app I built with some friends. Callab’s mission was to create a social media space where people are encouraged to socialise rather than be anti-social.

Yes it’s a tar-pit idea but we had some fun.

How did it do?

We had around 2 or 3 organic users who signed up by themselves and hosted some events through the app for a brief period of time, which was exciting, but we didn’t move past that.

We learnt a lot about how to retrieve useful user feedback, how to advertise a product and how to build solutions for problems that people have.

After 2 years of trying to distribute the app to universities and hostels, we happily put the project to rest. Callab is currently not available on the app or play store.
